About
Reviews you can trust, from people who’ll tell you the truth
We built this site because “best monitor” lists rank by star ratings and price, and almost never mention the one thing that matters: whether the device is independently validated for accuracy.
What we do
We review home blood pressure monitors on the things you can’t easily check yourself: independent validation status, cuff fit, display readability, and how simple each one is to live with. Then we say plainly which one we’d buy, and for whom.
What we don’t do
We don’t give medical advice. We won’t tell you what your numbers mean or what to do about them — that’s your doctor’s job, and getting it wrong could hurt someone. We stay in our lane: the hardware.
Our standards
- Every recommended monitor is on an independent validation registry, and we state which one.
- We label our evidence honestly — hands-on, community-verified, or spec-based.
- Affiliate commissions never change a ranking. Here’s our method.
Who’s behind this
Reviews are written in-house by Jayden Phoon, who leads our device testing and scoring. The medical framing — what a reading is and isn’t, when accuracy matters clinically — is checked by Dr Reshma Shettigar, a practising nephrologist. We stay on the hardware; she keeps us honest about the medicine.
